X-Ray machine Arman 9L5 repair - power block error.
The power block unit X-ray unit Arman 9L5 provides installation of anode voltage on the X-ray tube by adjusting the filament current. The current is regulated by an opto thyristor.
If the opto thyristor is broken, the 8 ohm resistor in the control electrode circuit is usually is failure. In the photo is indicated by an arrow.
The Arman 9L5 power supply unit has protection on switching on. If the operation logic is incorrect, the X-ray machine will not turn on.
To start the power supply, with the X-ray monoblock a need:
Connect the cable control panel.
Check the serviceability of the control photosensor of the filament x-ray tube.
Check the contact of the cable connector with the monoblock.
To start the power supply, without a X-ray monoblock, the must:
Connect the control panel.
Apply voltage to the control input of the photo sensor.
Apply feedback voltage from the filament winding to R12.
Modernization of power supply unit for X-ray unit Arman 9L5.
To increase the reliability of the power supply can be so.

Install instead of Zener diodes voltage regulators 12V, 5A. Types L7812 / L7912.
Replace all electrolytic capacitors.
Clear the slider of the variable resistor by frequently turning the knob left and right and rinse with alcohol.

The Power Bus "-12V" and "+12V". Remove solder out, clean the solder joints and again solder in, the Power Buses.
Change the position of the adjusting screws trimmer wire resistors.
Do small the change the position of the adjusting screws trimmer wire resistors.
